How the CFC Works - charities

Welcome! Thank you for choosing to participate in the 2021 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Your work empowers and inspires the generosity of the federal community, and together we can change the world.

Federal employees have the opportunity to give to any participating CFC charity, not just the local charities in their CFC zone. This option to support thousands of organizations allows donors to give to causes like finding cures for diseases, supporting military families, promoting equality for all, youth development, and more, regardless of geographic location.

HOW DOES THE CFC WORK?

The CFC is the annual opportunity for members of the federal community to support charities they care about through monetary and volunteer contributions. It is an employee-focused, cost-efficient, federally-regulated program aimed at raising the greatest amount possible for the participating charities who need it in the local communities, across the nation, and around the world.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

The CFC is one of the largest and most successful annual workplace campaigns, raising millions of dollars each year for organizations like yours. As the only authorized charitable solicitation in the entire federal workforce, the CFC offers access to a critical source of unrestricted funds and an inexpensive way to attract new donors from the federal community.

GET INVOLVED

Throughout the campaign, approved and participating charities may have the opportunity, via campaign events, to meet directly with campaign leaders and generous members of the federal community. These activities provide visibility for charities across the CFC donor base.
